HIS SIDE Amber was Jay's team lead at E-Comm 911 when he first started. On his first day, while she gave him a tour of the building, he couldn't keep his eyes off her. He found her to be smart, beautiful, and captivating all at the same time. What ensued was a year-and-half-long crush before he finally asked her out for gin one night. And the rest is history. HER SIDE Amber thought nothing of that initial meeting and thought Jay was just being friendly with his Skype messages and repeated invitations to hang out with a group of work friends. She didn’t even clue in when Jay found her on Instagram and kept regularly initiating conversation outside of work. While working out of different sites due to COVID, she was surprised at how quickly she began developing feelings for a man she had only seen in person a few times. When they finally hung out with friends on the beach, it became clear (to her great relief) that their chemistry extended beyond the texts. When he asked her out, it was the first time Amber was excited for a first date. One great first date has turned into 2.5 years and a lifetime together to look forward to.
